About 

Cary Grove Cookies is a home bakery operating out of Cary Illinois. We specialize in decorated sugar cookies with royal icing decorations. All products are approved for sale under the McHenry County Home Kitchen Operation law.

Types of Orders:
We have three types of orders with varying availability, price structure and customization options.

1. Custom Cookie Order - We will work with you to identify the perfect designs and package sizes for your celebrations. Orders must be finalized and paid in full at least one week before pickup date. 
2. Presales - Predefined sets are available to order for specific holidays and events throughout the year. To see the current selection of Presale sets available visit the PRESALES tab on the website above. Purchases are paid in advance and available for pickup on a date of your choice.
3. Flash Sale - Occassionally limited quantities of cookie sets will be made without an order and sold for as long as they are available. These cookie sets are advertised on Facebook @CaryGroveCookies and local Facebook groups. Cookies may be for an upcoming holiday or event or samples of new designs that are being worked on. Follow us on Facebook to be informed when these sales occur.

How to Order:

1. ​Identify the cookie set you woud like to purchase.
2. Email or message CaryGroveCookies to discuss availability, design details and pickup dates - Email: [email protected], Message: facebook.com/CaryGroveCookies
3. Determine payment method - Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle or credit card. The user id will be sent to you.
4. Submit payment to confirm your order and pickup date. Two weeks notice is requested for most orders. Occassionally my calender will fill up as much as two months in advance. Place your orders early to guarantee the date you need. 
5. Last minute orders can sometimes be accepted based on my schedule for any given week. Feel free to inquire, I might be able to fit in your order.
6. On the selected pickup date you will be contacted when the cookies are ready. A convenient time will be determined for you to pickup at my house in Cary IL. Cookies are left in a bin on the front porch for contactless pickup (unless weather conditions dictate otherwise).

Additional Notes:

1. We do offer shipping. Shipping is by UPS with trackable delivery information. Each cookie is individually wrapped in bubble wrap, secured in a bakery box and nestled in a shipping box with additional packaging. We are not responsible for cookies once they are dropped at the shipping office. Each cookie is also individually heat-sealed to retain freshness during the shipping process.
2. Prepayment for cookies is required to secure your date on our calendar.
3. Refunds are not available once the precess of creating your order has started. This process can start weeks in advance with the creation of customized cookie cutters or the purchase of specialized decorations.
